I'm an independent knit and textile designer working from my studio in Colchester, close to the Essex estuaries and coastal salt marshes - the faded colours and rich textures have found their way into the Ebb and flow collection of knit and crochet patterns.

 

After gaining a degree in textiles I worked at Wendy Hand Knit Yarns before freelancing for yarn and fibre companies and magazines.

I design my own range of hand knit patterns, sold through Ravelry and Love Knitting.

 

​I'm inspired by patterns, textures, colours, new yarns, unusual knitting techniques and interesting garment constructions.
